Mrs. W. gave this testimony from our latest session...
"Jeffrey was so amazing he helped every step of the way from the consultation where he explained how our shoot was going to be. To the actual shoot where he helped me with my angles and different poses. It made me feel more relaxed and comfortable to focus on just enjoying the experience. He personally demonstrated how he wanted me to pose, which was both helpful and hilarious. I felt so comfortable and beautiful. I would highly recommend him to any one who is new to boudoir shoots. Jeffrey is someone who I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a professional photographer.
Holy Crap! You have gorgeous images, but I don't want to be all over the internet. I see you out there, looking at my images and thinking to yourself, gosh these are beautiful but I'm not going to schedule because I don't want to end up plastered all over the internet.
I'm going to get more and more open as I write these blogs. I want you as the reader to know me, the real me.
First, it's true, the vast majority of boudoir photographers are female. There are some extremely talented ladies across the globe. I also recognize there are probably a group of clients who would only choose a female boudoir photographer and I completely understand that.
Boudoir can be intimidating for some clients. You might think, "I don't look like her" or "I don't feel pretty enough" you might even think "I don't want my pictures all over social media"
Rest assured, I take great care of each of my clients and respect both where they start in comfort level for shooting and their privacy or anonymity. No images are posted without a legal release and consent signed to do so. If you prefer not to have your images published...they won't be ;)
I had the pleasure of creating this image of Lulu. She told me that she had no idea what to do and she was nervous. I played some music to disturb her anxious thoughts and let her focus on the rhythm. Then I offered her some water and we took a short break and a deep breath. "I don't know what to do with my body, I don't feel sexy right now", she said. I replied, "it's ok I'm going to direct and show you exactly what to do".
I’ve been meaning to write this for a while and decided now is a great time to just get this done! I hear “reasons” all the time from women why they can’t do a boudoir session and I’m telling you today that those “reasons” are really just excuses! I’m a huge believer in loving yourself as you are today in this very moment, and if you aren’t quite there yet, I can help empower you to see yourself as the confident, individual Dream Girl that you are. So, without further ado, here are the Top 10 excuses women tell themselves (and me) why they can’t do a boudoir shoot right now, and my responses to them and YOU!
Have you ever felt unseen? Like nothing you were doing or saying mattered? Let me relate to you for a moment...
